Home Treatment Services

Our bespoke, highly specialised ‘One Client, One Team’ treatment takes place in an exclusive one-to-one setting. Your privacy, comfort and safety are our priority, and your anonymity is secured at all times.

Are Home Treatment Services Right for Me?

Everyone’s circumstances are different, and you can rest assured you will not be required to make this decision on your own.

During your initial assessment, we will discuss your needs and desired outcomes, and we will come to a decision together about whether you would be better suited to home or inpatient treatment.

We will talk to you about your specific needs and desired outcomes and come to a decision together about whether you would be better suited to home or inpatient care. Whichever route you choose, we will ensure you receive the highest quality care and will continuously review your plan to make sure you are on the right track to recovery.

Many elements are taken into consideration when deciding whether or not home treatment is right for you, including:

  • You or your loved one’s preference for home care vs psychiatric hospital – for example, if you live with parents, a partner or children, there will be multiple parties to consider, and it will not simply be down to your preference or safety.
  • The severity of your symptoms and potential consequences – when considering home care, we consider any possible risks, both to you and the team supporting you. Following NICE guidelines, we will support you with an onward referral whenever we believe that home treatment services aren’t suitable and/or the level of risk is too high.
  • Any previous mental illness – we look at any previous issues you have experienced and the risks these may pose with home treatment.
  • How are you currently responding to any treatment – we look at the results of any treatment you are currently receiving and the rate at which your condition is positively or negatively changing.
  • Practicalities – for example, whether there is enough space for an additional person to live in your home and how this will affect the dynamic of the existing household.
  • Finances –  we are transparent with our pricing, and our fees will be discussed with you as we tailor-make your treatment plan.

The Benefits of Home Treatment Services

Separation from family may cause further problems that can be easily avoided with home treatment. This option is preferable for clients who find adapting to a new environment particularly difficult. Home is a safe space for many, and for those who live with loved ones, it provides invaluable support.

We are able to provide round-the-clock support for clients who need 24-hour medically led care; however, we can also offer 12-hour care where appropriate – for example, many people find night times particularly difficult and extra support during this time.

For clients looking for accountability on their road to recovery from SUD and AUD, we are able to provide sober companions, allowing them to continue with their daily responsibilities without the upheaval of attending a residential treatment centre.

Home treatment services offer the opportunity to learn how to manage and cope with your mental health condition and receive treatment in your own home, making the transition back into daily life simpler. The care you receive at home will be the exact same standard and quality that you would receive as an inpatient. With a dedicated team of professionals on hand to support you on your recovery journey, you can continue with your regular, day-to-day life with minimal disruption.
